What should I do if I lose an adult tooth?

  1. Call us ASAP ⏤ time is of the essence if you want to save the tooth.
  2. If your tooth has been knocked loose, apply gentle pressure to push it back into place. Don’t force the tooth, as you could cause additional damage or pain.
  3. If your tooth has become completely detached, avoid touching the roots. Place the tooth in milk, salt water, or saliva. Be sure to bring it with you to your appointment.
  4. Carefully follow any instructions that our team member gives you. They will explain how to manage your emergency until you can come to our office.

Is my tooth infected?

You may have a tooth infection if you’re experiencing these symptoms:
